Its unique “foam-on” action allows it to reach into nooks and crannies, and it is completely food-safe—leaving “no-rinse” residue behind.

Sanitation Tip: “Don’t fear the foam!” The foam is an active sanitizer and does not need to be rinsed out of fermenters or bottles. Use 1 oz of Star San per 5 gallons of water. Using distilled or RO water for your solution will extend its shelf life for several weeks.
