1. Mount at the ridge or in the field, a minimum of 6 ft from any gable edge, over a minimum 2×4 top chord with 7/16 inch OSB sheathing installed.
2. Choose fasteners for the slope: WS 3.0 hex head wood screws to 24/12, or 16d nails and 12 screws to 12/12.
3. Drive fasteners through the perimeter holes into framing, with the shackle welds and D-ring oriented downslope.
4. For SRL anchorage, attach with WS 3.0 hex head screws per the manual figures.
5. Work within 30 degrees of vertical center for fall arrest, or rig 360 degree fall restraint without free fall exposure.
6. Remove after use, inspect the shackle welds and D-ring, and redeploy on the next job.

Inspection and Retirement

• Corrosion is present that does not clean up.
